Modrý důl Valley

Modrý důl, which lies in the foothills of the Studniční and Lesní mountains, is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Giant Mountains. It is not only the pristine nature in the valley that draws peoples’ attention, but also the timber cottages of the quaint historic mountain village, which is listed as a protected monument. Modrý důl extends into the most strictly protected areas of the Krkonoše National Park and, in 2013, was included among the seven wonders of the Giant Mountains.
