The acronym ESG is an amalgamation of the English words \"Environmental, Social, Governance\" and refers to criteria and standards for companies' environmental and social performance and their management and governance. The ESG concept itself is based on socially responsible business and reflects the need for investors to gain insight into the environmental, governance and social behaviour of companies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Grand Hotel Hradec<\/strong> is a modern and energy-efficient building located in Pec pod Sn\u011b\u017ekou. It uses unique energy sources and is designed with ESG (environmental, social and governance) factors in mind.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">In 2017, it was <strong>awarded a special prize<\/strong> for sustainable development by the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic within the Czech Energy and Environmental Project (CEEP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>The 20 geothermal boreholes<\/strong>, which are used to heat the hotel, together with mountain air recovery , create a system that is more environmentally friendly and helps to maintain a constant and comfortable temperature in the hotel, regardless of the season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>1 131 m2 of triple glazing<\/strong> was used in the construction, which is one of the other factors of low energy consumption.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>The solar panels<\/strong> on the roof, which use the sun's energy to generate electricity, are capable of producing 20 kWp, helping to reduce the consumption of electricity from the local grid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thanks to these innovative solutions, the energy consumption has been reduced and minimise the environmental impact of the hotel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Koncept&nbsp;ESG&nbsp;byl poprv\u00e9 p\u0159edstaven Organizac\u00ed spojen\u00fdch n\u00e1rod\u016f ve sv\u00fdch Z\u00e1sad\u00e1ch odpov\u011bdn\u00e9ho investov\u00e1n\u00ed z roku 2006, ale v posledn\u00edch letech se stal roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u011bj\u0161\u00edm.
